This is a high quality 1 tune 18 note clockwork movement which are made in Switzerland by Gueissaz - Jaccard, this company have been making music box movements since 1848.
Gueissaz - Jaccard make these musical movements individually,therefore ensuring each movement offers a high quality tone which makes them an ideal movement for musical jewellery boxes.
Wound from underneath with a removable key (which is supplied and comes complete with a wire brake for lid activation,you can easily remove the brake if it is not needed).
