Dancing Clown Musical Theatre Box 22169

An unusual gift for any occasion.  This dancing clown musical theatre box features a clown set behind a perspex sheet, in front of a night time background.  When the front drawer is pulled out the clown dances, jiggling his legs and body as though dancing to the music.  When the drawer is pushed back in, the music stops playing and the clown stops dancing.  A clockwork mechanism is fitted into the back of the theatre which is wound by a key at the rear.  The music is 'O Du Lieber Augustin'.  The drawer is large enough to store small trinkets etc.
 

This musical jewellery box is made from a thin wood board covered in a printed paper of colourful design featuring trees, birds, clouds and rainbows etc.
