This musical movement is Swiss made under the "Romance" brand by Reuge, the famous Swiss music box makers, it has a 36 note comb.
These 36 note "Romance" by Reuge movements have bigger cylinders than the standard 18 note movements, to give a longer melody. They also give a deeper richer tone.
This 36 note movement is an ideal size for medium high quality musical jewellery boxes. The Musical Movement is wound from underneath by a removable key (supplied).
