A beautiful Swiss made music box. This wooden musical box is finished in burr walnut with a violin inlay. The 72 note movement plays Canon in D, J Pachelbel in 3 parts.
The music box is wound from underneath, the movement operates from a slide button on the front, so you are able to play the music with the lid up or down. Slide the button to the right and the tune begins to play. When the button is slid back to the left, the tune will stop at the end of it's revolution.
