Arabesque Octagonal Musical Jewellery Box 48/1C

This beautiful hand made musical jewellery box from The Music Box Shop, is fitted with an 18 note musical movement.  It is an unusual octagonal shape.

This music box is wound from underneath, when you lift the lid the music plays.

This fine wooden musical jewellery box is hand made, finished in a gloss walnut veneer. The marquetry set into the lid and around the sides of the musical box is of an intricate arabesque design.  The interior is lined in a  light brown baize and there is a padded slot for rings and some space for small chains and earrings.

There is a lift out cover over the musical movement so that the musical movement can be on display beneath perspex if required.  This music box also has a lock fitted and is supplied with a decorative key with a gold coloured tassle.  The music box sits on eight delicate brass feet.
