Brass frein blanks for use in making violin and cello pipes, these freins ("harmonic brakes" or"frein-harmonique") can be used in many applications on various types of organ pipework in organ building. Perfect for replacement of damaged pipe freins during restoration or for use in new build mechanical, fair, street, dance and fairground organs.

The freins are available in various sizes you can pick your size from the boxes above, sold separately per frein.

Approx sizes are:-

( LN) Large without fixing holes, total length of blank 81 mm x 56 mm at widest point.

( L) Large, with fixing holes, total length of blank 81 mm x 59 mm at widest point.

(M1) Medium, with fixing holes, total length of blank 67 mm x 41 mm at widest point.

(M1) Medium, with fixing holes, total length of blank 70 mm x 40 mm at widest point.

(MN) Medium, without fixing holes, total length of blank 77 mm x 35 mm at widest point.

(S) Small, with fixing holes, total length of blank 62 mm x 30 mm at widest point.

(ES) Extra Small, with fixing holes, total length of blank 60 mm x 26 mm at widest point.
