Edelweiss Music Box 70509

This beautiful wooden jewellery box is fitted with an 18 note musical movement that plays the tune 'Edelweiss'.  There are padded ring slots in the left hand side of the music box and the musical movement is fitted beneath a glass cover on the right hand side of the box.  The music box is lined in a deep red baize.  There are four brass feet.

The music box is wound from underneath. When you lift the lid the musical movement plays.  This wooden box has an Edelweiss flower transfer on the lid.  The inside of the lid has been lined with a deep red baize.  The musical movement is on show beneath a glass cover.

Please note this is a transfer on the lid, it is not a marquetry box.
