This Jobin musical box has a beautiful 18 note swiss movement within, that plays the tune 'For Elise', being wound by key from the underneath the box. This petite musical box, is decorated on the top, with a beautiful hand painted rose flower (see secondary image for closeup). The box is a natural wood colour. This quaint and wonderfully crafted box, would make a fine addition to any collection or as the perfect gift for that special occasion. Inside the box has an unusual style of stopper, to stop the music playing when the box is closed. This stopper can be seen on the image of the inside of the box; the box uses a small rod to stop the movement playing. The rod fits through a small hole in the transparent screen (which protects the musical movement within the box) to stop the butterfly on the musical movement rotating, thus stopping the music from playing.
