Rose & Butterfly Musical Jewellery Box 46/2SGR

This beautiful hand made musical jewellery box from The Music Box Shop, is fitted with an 18 note musical movement. 

This music box is wound from underneath, when you lift the lid the music plays.

This fine wooden musical jewellery box is hand made, finished in a pioppo (poplar) veneer and coated in a gloss lacquer. The marquetry set into the lid is of a beautiful rose and butterfly design.  The interior is lined in a  light brown baize and there is a padded slot for rings and some space for small chains and earrings.

There is a lift out cover over the musical movement so that the musical movement can be on display beneath perspex if required.  This music box also has a lock fitted and is supplied with a decorative key.  The music box sits on four delicate brass feet.
