This is a 1 tune 18 note clockwork high quality Swiss music box movement made under the "Romance" brand by Reuge. A movement ideal for small projects and music boxes. Wound from underneath with a removable key (which is supplied and comes complete with a wire brake for lid activation,you can easily remove the brake if it is not needed).
Please note that this movement is not suitable for use where a rotation plate is required to be fitted from the top of the spring housing.

Even though January 8th 2010 was one of the coldest days recorded,with ice and snow all over the country, I was amazed to get the delivery of my item on the next day from Bristol to Exeter.(it was only a spare part costing little money)
This is beyond all shadow of doubt the top Music Box site on the internet. with a proper telephone number to ring. If you put in your browser Music Box Spares another site takes over www. qualitym... But this site has a listening station which is very handy to listen to the songs that can be obtained.but buy from the Bristol shop.
